Slawdictions for Washougal: The Jett Takes Over the PNW

NONE of this would be possible without the folks at FLY Racing, who have stepped in to support Slaw and #slawnation couldn’t be happier. Visit www.flyracing.com and support those who support Slaw. Have you seen the new gear the boys will be rocking this weekend? No, you just suck at life? Well, check it out.

Following a nearly 98 percent pick rate over Monster Energy AMA Supercross, I’m here to bring you the most flame, fire, fuego, feu, predictions for the ENTIRE Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Hot takes, bold predictions, you name it, Slaw’s got it.

Before we move to Washougal, let’s review Spring Creek/Millville…

Prediction | Tomac Takes the Points Lead

This has nothing to do with Chase Sexton, as he is riding amazing right now. Nope, this is all about Tomac, who is on FIRE. He’s won five straight motos and Millville is a Tomac track. He wins the overall and takes the points lead.

Chase Sexton went Beast Mode at Spring Creek. Unfortunately for Mr Sex-ton, Eli Tomac went Super Beast Mode and we all know Super Beast Mode beats Beast Mode. And now Tomac holds the points lead, just like Slaw said.

Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.

Prediction | Ryder D Top 10

Ryder D is back after skipping Southwick and I like him for a top 10 in a moto. Here’s the kicker. Ryder already has 16 points and can’t go over 40 if he wants to race Loretta’s. If he scores solid points in the first moto does he just sit out the second? Who knows…

What I tell ya. Ryder D is a smart dude. He got 8th overall and stayed under 40 points, which means he can race Loretta’s. Brilliant I tell ya.

Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.

Prediction | Anstie Another Top Five Overall

Yeah, Southwick is an Anstie track, but guess what: I think Spring Creek is too! Pretty sure this is the final Pro Motocross round Anstie will race, so he’ll want to go out with a bang, which is a top five overall!

Ts and ps, Max. Apparently this was a gnarly one, but he said on IG he’s ok!

Slawdiction: DNF

Prediction | Savatgy Bounces Back

Throw Southwick out the door! Doesn’t count. You know what does? Jo Dog’s previous results at RedBud and High Point where he went 6-7. I like him back around there at Millville.

Savatgy was in the process of bouncing back, then crashed. Still, he got 8th in moto two, which is right around where I said he would finish. So, yeah.

Slawdiction: 6 out of 10.

Prediction | Jett Wins Again

BOLD, I know.

Hunter needs to stop the bleeding.

Slawdiction: 10 out of 10.

On to Washougal, the Crown Jewel of the series…

Jett Wins…. Again

Look, Hunta has been riding fantastic. But Jett has just been a tad better. I know a Mister Vurb Wes is all in on Hunta winning this weekend, but yeah, I’m sticking with Jett for another Lawrence bros 1-2 finish.

Maximus Top 5

Let’s clear something up real quick: If my name was Maximus there is no way in h e double hockey stick I’m letting anyone call me just Max. Nope, Maximus all day every day. Anyway, he’s starting to come around and I like him for a top 5 overall this weekend.

Sexton Wins

As noted above, Sexton went Beast Mode at Spring Creek but still lost out on the overall to a Mister Tomac. That changes this weekend. Sexton stops the bleeding near potato country to take the overall.

Bam Bam Goes Big Big

Call it a hunch, but I like a Mister Bam back on the overall podium this weekend.

RV Crushes it in the Booth

Not gonna lie, I’m really excited for this. If RV goes unfiltered this could be amazing.
