Robbie Wageman and Carson Mumford Injured in Salt Lake City

Man, Friday was a rough day for a couple riders in Salt Lake City.

Team Solitaire/Nuclear Blast Records/Yamaha Racing’s Robbie Wageman sustained a gnarly crash in the PulpMX Privateer Challenge race when his bike locked in the air over a jump.

“Unfortunately my bike locked up in the air on this one,” Wageman wrote on Instagram. “Happy to not be in pieces after this one. Thankful it’s not worse than it is, this one was scary.. thanks to all my peeps for taking care of me.”

According to the team, Wageman sustained a knee injury in the crash.

In other news, BarX Suzuki’s Carson Mumford sustained a broken foot and dislocated toe in a crash during press day. He provided an update on Instagram.

“Rough press day for me for the final round of supercross in Utah:( Had a mishap in a rhythm section and had to jump off my bike on to my feet. I knew as soon as I hit my season was over and my foot was broken/ big toe was dislocated 😞 Got the toe set back in place and doesn’t look (as of right now) like I’ll need surgery on the foot but I’ll keep everyone updated!”
