Happy Friday and welcome to Power Rankings!!!!! Pro Motocross is BACK and we are back talking about racing. I don’t know about anyone else, but this summer could be all-time. The Lawrences vs Sexton vs Prado vs Tomac and more.

BUT, who does Slaw and VurbWes have at the top heading into the opener? Read on…

Slaw’s Rankings

– I went back and forth and back and forth and back and forth on this one, but in the end, I went Sexton. Jett is coming off a major injury and while if healthy all year I would have had him at the top, but he wasn’t. Does this mean I have Sexton winning the title? No, it doesn’t. It just means I have him #1 heading into the weekend.

– See above.

– Like Jett, Tomac is also coming off injury. The Tomac camp has been quiet (shocker) coming into the weekend, so I have no idea how he feels. But, he’s Eli Tomac and he’s really good at riding a dirtbike outdoors and yeah, I like his chances this year.

– The unknown! Prado is also coming off injury and this will be his first year racing outdoors in the U.S. How quickly can he adjust? Will the heat bother him? All questions and why I have him fourth right now.

– Justin Cooper is going to win motos this year, mark my words!

– Stop me if you have heard this? Hunter is also coming off an injury, but man, he was so underrated last year that I wanted to put him higher, but LOOK who is in front of him!!!! Exactly.

– Anderson is back and while he’s better in Supercross, he’ll be in the mix outdoors.

– Apparently Webb is in for the full season despite a thumb injury. How much will the injury hold him back? Probably a lot, which is why I have him sixth.

– AP is gonna AP. He will be great all season long and consistent. Could I see him winning some motos? Sure, why not.

– No idea what to expect really, but Malcolm is no slouch outdoors.
