Another week, another Power Rankings. Read on below from the best from Slaw. Wes and Troy also submitted entries.
Slaw Dog Pre-Arlington Supercross Rankings

-Ties in Power Rankings? Sure, why not. Saturday night felt like 2019 all over again and it was glorious. Kenny vs Coop in a death match for the win. Something about when those two get up front that just gives me the feels. And with a rash of injuries, we needed a good race and they provide it.
-His win second place was great, but his podium speech brought the damn house and Twitter X down. Having the gumption to call our your team owner on live TV streaming is amazing. Max was fired up after the race and I can’t blame him. His win felt stolen, but at least he stole the hearts and minds of social media with his interview.
-Weird mistakes from Chase again. He jumped the start, got caught in the gate, crashed and came back to third all in one race. If this was any other rider I would have been surprised. Not with Chase.
-Bobby is probably the most underrated personality in the pits. And, hey, even Max said his phone call earlier in the day worked.
-Dude is out here riding with his finger looking like this and winning heats and getting top fives. Tough is an understatement. Thrasher got that dawg in him.

-A win is a win. What was he supposed to do, let Max win just because he led the whole race? Nah, you race to win and Levi did just that. Big bounce back after a tough opener for the title contender.
-Really starting to come along. If he can get the whoops figured out, watch out, because he might just win one of these rounds.
-Nice way to back up his first career win. While he wasn’t the fastest in the whoops again (that honor belonged to Chase Sexton) a fourth was a solid result for Mookie.

-Having a really good start to the East Region with 10-8 finishes. Honestly, how he is even riding this early is a modern miracle.
-Henry is just one of those dude who is consistently fighting for a top 10 and gets no recognition. Not anymore. Slaw is recognizing you, Henry. Remember that. Nice 11-10 start to the East Region for the veteran.
Wes Dog Pre-Arlington Supercross Rankings

I’m gonna be honest. My L5-S1 nerve root should actually be atop of the Guts Power Rankings this week, but like my #7 pick this week, I’ve got to suck it up and pretend like my shit don’t hurt. Thanks to Lano, I’ve been applying healthy amounts of NanoX Cream to my entire back (which does actually provide helpful relief) and causes a constant barrage of questions from my 4-year old son, “Dada, what you smell like?” Anyways, it might’ve taken me the last 12 hours to get into my office chair, but we’re here.
#1: Bros, Coop is doing Coop, and that’s something that’s VERY HARD to bet against. This time in 2019, the year of his first Championship, he took the red plate and never relinquished it. Granted, he’s just now only claimed his first Monster Energy AMA Supercross win of 2025 this past weekend in Detroit, but it’s undeniable he now has this thing called momentum.
#2: Even though Coop might have momentum, we’d be just plan eg-no-ra-moose to count out the 2023 Champ, Chase Sexton. Battle royale, initiated.
#3: Even though Ken Roczen is 16 points down, I’m not counting the guy out of the title hunt. As we’ve seen, Supercross really enjoys throwing curveballs. Hell, it’s thrown Ken a few in his lifetime. Maybe it’s time that he’ll make contact and get a Grand Slam.
#4: After 2 rounds, it’s evident there’s a handful of East Region racers that need a break. And who doesn’t want to see the Deegan, Beaumer, Davies train light back up. I’m not sure how we consider Arlington a west coast event, but the fans will take it.
#5: Pierce Brown, AFTER NECK SURGERY, already up and walking and rehabilitating and being a badass and just wow. Moto dudes are gnarly. Not sure what the prognosis for a return is, but it’s quite impressive to see someone brushing off a T5 operation so casually.
#6: After racing with a broken leg, Eli Tomac did whatever Eli Tomac does, and announced he’ll be back to Supercross racing before the end of the season. Who knows how this might shake up the championship when it comes time, but it’s quite the power move. Chuck Tomac is incredible.
#7: We already seen McAdoo’s balls of steel, literally, so it’s really no surprise he’s just able to hang it out, time and time again. It’s nearly impossible to knock the dude down. Despite walking off the track in a neck brace in Detroit, he announced we’ll see him back at the next round. That is some grit and determination right there.
#8: What a roller coaster Mitch Payton lives on. I admire his ability to just keep going. There was a point in time he lived on top of the world for seasons on end, but lately it just seems every time they have things set up for an incredible year, it just falls apart. Detroit was a perfect example: McAdoo crashes out, but that red flag incident allows Levi Kitchen to win. Double edged sword all the time. Thanks for always coming back, Mitch.
#9: Just a proud dad moment where I have to pat ourselves on the back. For the betterment and unity of our sport and amateur motocross, we’ve decided to push our event from the dates we claimed during its return in 2023, to another date – which is now April 17-20. This should help out riders, promoters, and the industry as a whole, even though it caused quite a logistical nightmare. Ironically, we’re actually now on the original World Mini dates, and I now get to spend my birthday at the event, something I did many times throughout my teens and early twenties! Check out our WORLD MINI page for more info.
#10: Axell Hodges, just wow. Massive send, even more MASSIVE crash. And somehow he’s okay. Especially after seeing him on the mend all of 2024 after breaking his femur, very happy to see him walk away from his massive crash.
