Power Rankings Post-Washougal: Forkner Delivers

For 34 years GUTS Racing has prided themselves on being the innovators in seat technology. If you’re looking for a comfortable and stylish place to park your rear end on your dirt bike then look no further. GUTS carries an extensive product line of seat covers and foam no matter what you ride! Use the promo code Vurb20 at checkout to save on your order!

We have changed things around a bit. I think (I do reserve the right to change this) we will begin the week with Power Rankings instead of at the end of the week. The reasoning is because people want stuff NOW, right after the racing, not at the end of the week and who am I not to deliver Power Rankings to the people as fast as possible?

So, enjoy the new date and we hope you continue to support the best Power Rankings in the world.

Slaw’s Ranks, Post-Washougal

1) Most would have given up already. I would have probably given up already. Austin Forkner has that dawg in him and doesn’t give up. He has been to injury hell and back and to say this season has been tough would be an understatement. Good to see Fork Dog back in the top 10.

2) Only one person has beat Jett Lawrence since he moved to the 450 Class for an overall. That person is Chase Sexton.

3) Glad they had time for an interview with G Dog.

4) We need to talk about Dilan (still trying to figure out why he spells it that way) more. Quick: how many top-10s do you think he has this year? If you said two you would be SOOOOO wrong. He has four after a season-best sixth at Washougal. No offense to BarX, but he isn’t on a factory bike, so this run has been pretty amazing.

5) So Eli shouldn’t retire like everyone said post-Spring Creek? Shocker.

6) Jo has found an extra gear and should have three overalls in a row if not for his rear brake going out at Spring Creek.

7) Yeah, Jett is really, really good. Not much to add to that.

8) The best Kawasaki rider right now? I mean…

9) We all predicted Guillod to be better than Prado this summer. ALL OF US!

10) Nichols, like Forkner, has not had a good summer. Good for him to not give in and score his first top-10 this season.
