Welcome back to the GUTS Power Rankings. If you are new here, remember, we (I) combined the 250 and 450 Classes, these rankings are not solely based on just results and all complaints can be directed here.

Lets just jump right into it. ADD brains have probably already left after reading 30 words.

10: Haiden Deegan

If any other rider opened their 450 Pro Motocross career with 5-3 finishes through two rounds, we’d be talking about a breakout start. Haiden Deegan is not any other rider. Yes, he creates a lot of this “hype” and yes, the marketing machine was fully cranked prior to the season. I’m fine with it. It creates storylines. It creates anticipation. It creates fun. We’re not curing cancer over here, doggies. Anyway, first career podium for the Deegs in the 450 Class. One of many to come.

9: Hunter Lawrence

Still the points leader! With very little prep coming out of a title chase in Supercross, Hunter and the team have to be happy after two rounds.

8: Levi Kitchen

Still trying to figure out where he came from in the first moto. Consistency will be the key moving forward in his run toward the title.

7: Carson Mumford

Second non factory rider behind Max Vohland on the result sheet from Hangtown. Very nice results for the local. He’s been sneaky strong through two rounds with 11-9 overall finishes.

6: Garrett Marchbanks

Very exciting day on and off the track for Marchbanks.

5: Dylan Ferrandis

Only the second race for the iconic Italian brand in Pro Motocross and already a fourth place finish. The team and Dylan have to be happy with that.

4: Coenen bros

Much respect to the boys. They are leading the points in MXGP (Lucas MXGP; Sacha MX2) and yet still made the trip stateside to race this weekend. I have no idea how they will fare (top 5s would be my guess) but I’m excited to see them as they prepare to come here full-time–probably as soon as next year.

3: Nick Romano

His career was on life support and Mitch Payton threw him a lifeline. He’s taken it by the horns and proved he deserves a factory rider. Going to be hard for Mitch to leave him off the team when McAdoo and Adams return.
