Welcome to the 2023 Slaw/Troy Dog/Ginger Dog Combined 250/450 Top Ten Power Rankings! Slaw, Ginger, and Troy each have created their own list of who they believe carry the most power in the sport. They each have created their own categories and have weighted these people accordingly, whether its speed, following, skills, you name it. Or it could just be random. Basically, whatever is happening that week is fair game.

Each week these rankings will be updated so that you guys can argue about how wrong they are in the comment section! Feel free to tell us if we’re right/wrong/or completely dumb.

Slaw Dog

-Jimmy D topping qualifying is like a dude leading his hometown team to the Super Bowl or something, right? I mean, Jimmy D is The Wick. A track known for local heroes dating back to the 1800s, and Jimmy kept that streak alive on Saturday after having not raced a Pro Motocross event since 2018!!!!!!!!!!

-Michelle Journet, dad of THE Tommy Tenders, is a big moto fan. He’s also French. He also hung out with THE Jo Jo Keller this past weekend. What a weekend for Mr Tommy T. Please watch this video from the Racer X Review Show, it’s amazing.

-You know when a dude gets his first win and then just goes off? Yeah, we may see that with Vialle. Dude is coming into his own.

-Another local legend, the Can Man helped ole Slaw out by going out and top 10ing, just like I predicted in Slawdictions last week.

-Jett gonna Jett.

-NO ONE had Haiden Deegan leading the points after six rounds. NO ONE. Did he get some help from Hunter the last two rounds. But guess what? He was there to take advantage. No one but the Deegs can say that. This title fight is going to be INTENSE.

-Man, Jo is right in the thick of this too. Great moto win at The Wick.

-For reals, let’s put some respect on the Ham Man’s name. Dude has been off all year, jumps right back into the series and is doing WORK.

-The Lars not only went and raced Southwick and finished 16th overall. He then drove straight through the night to race the Canadian National at Gopher Dunes, which is GNARLY, and got on the dang podium. Lars got that dawg in him.

-Like Troy, I didn’t know much about ole Bryce Shelly, but dude is showing out and should contend at Loretta’s.

Troy Dog

-It’s Himmy Decotis because he really is HIM. He retired due to Lyme Disease, came back, and really impressed us all. He qualified first AND tied a career best after four years off.

-WE are heading on vacation to the beach. Don’t call me.

-This will be the first Millville national that AMart will be working, not racing. I’m just happy that he was able to retire on his own terms.

-Add the red plate to his list of accomplishments.

-Coop sat out two motos and he is still in a good position to win this championship.

-Freddie joined me on the Squad Pod this week and we talked about him jumping in the infamous pool at RedBud. We are trying to “out nice” each other now. We also have BIG plans for Ironman.

*It’s me Ginger. I’m currently scribing for T because he’s driving. This idea was my genius so I’m super excited to see it all come together.

-HE HAS RISEN.

-Congrats on the first top 10 of your career at your home track! What a cool story.

-KEY FEATCHAZ. Luke did his first national this year and he was actually on a 450. I’ve been telling him to race a 450 instead of a two stroke for a couple years now. He took an overall 19th and I didn’t even know he was going to race!

-Body Armor saved my life this week. I’m talking about the drink. If you’ve never had it go buy some (I’m looking for a sponsorship deal).

Ginger Dog

-Jett made his 10ish second lead each moto look so easy.

-P1! We all knew it was coming. Good job Tom.

-I was so happy to see Jo on the podium this past weekend. It was his first one since last year! I hope he can do it again at Spring Creek.

-New points leader. Will it last?

-Top 10 at his home track. I love it.

-P4. Sending it per usual.

-Ty is still out there cranking it out and it’s leaving me extremely impressed after each round. He made Ferrandis work for that pass moto 1 which made for great Stew commentary.

-I thrive in heat. I set our AC to 78 during the summer (don’t come after me for it either). I tell TDog all the time that I’m basically a lizard but whatever was going on at The Wick looked brutal. The track. So much sand. Sickly hot. No thank you.

-The points are close for the top five. 250 is just fun to watch right now. There are so many good guys out there and it has me rethinking who might take the championship.

-Rugrats: Season 3, Episode 24. Every time Millville rolls around this is what my ADHD brain goes to. 90s kids know what I’m talking about. Melville was a real one. May he rest in peace. Also, Chuckie Finster was my favorite. I love redheads.
