Official: Justin Barcia and GasGas Part Ways

Following five years together, Justin Barcia and GasGas will go their separate ways in 2026.

In a press release, the team thanked Barcia for a historic five years together, which included the brands first 450SX Main Event and 450MX overall victories.

Barcia initially joined the team in 2021 and won his debut at Houston Supercross, marking the first time GasGas had won a Supercross main event.

Later that year, he delivered the brands first Pro Motocross win with a 1-2 performance at Spring Creek.

Over the course of the four seasons that followed, Barcia would claim a haul of podium results both in Supercross and Pro Motocross, with another 450SX Main Event victory achieved at East Rutherford in 2023.

While not official, Barcia is expected to sign with Ducati, which is making their U.S. debut in 2026.

Troy Lee Designs, which ran GasGas for a number of years, is heading up the Ducati program in the U.S.
