Ahh… a new season of Monster Energy AMA Supercross right in the middle of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season! Huh? That’s right, the 250SX East Division kicks off this Saturday in Arlington, TX, and the class is loaded! Seth Hammaker, Cole Davies, Jo Shimoda, Jalek Swoll, Dax Bennick, Pierce Brown and the list goes on and on and on. You can actually view that full list right here! #AMAMEDIAMEMBEROFTHEYEAR

While the new season has plenty to talk about, I’m not here for that right now. I’m here to infuse some flaming hot (okay, mild if I’m being honest) predictions for the season. Here is what I will be predicting:

Most wins

Most podiums

Most laps led

Number of Different Winners

Title winner

Runner-up

Most Wins: Cole Davies

I think people forget how good this dude was as a ROOKIE a year ago. He was going head-to-head with Deegan and winning! As we’ve found out this year, that is not an easy thing to do. He had a bad injury at the end of last year, but everything says he’s fine entering 2026. HE will have the most wins, but will he win the title?

Most Podiums: Seth Hammaker

A veteran now, Ham Dog is entering the year as a title favorite and he should be. He lost the East by only three points last year and to me, should be at the top of everyones list. He doesn’t need to win 5 times, he just needs to be consistent. And he will be and that’s why I have him taking the most podiums.

Most Laps Led: Davies

If you win, you need to lead laps.

Number of Different Winners: 4

And here is that list:

Davies

Hammaker

Jo Shimoda

Pierce Brown

Title winner: Hammaker

See above.

Runner-up: Shimoda

Is he 100%? That is the big question. I think it takes Jo a round or two to get into the flow of the season and THAT will be the difference in the title chase. Jo comes up just short, as Hammaker wins by 10 points.
