A week after Zach Osborne announced his new brand ambassador deal with Beta, we have another former champion entering a new role in the industry.
Troy Lee Designs announced on Wednesday that it is bringing on Marvin Musquin as a brand ambassador. The two-time MX2 World Champion and 2015 250SX East Region Supercross Champion has not raced since Anaheim 1 2013, but he only officially announced his retirement from professional racing at the 2024 Paris Supercross.
“After years of racing at the highest level, it’s an honor to welcome Marvin Musquin to the Troy Lee Designs family,” the brand wrote on social media. “From MX2 World Champion to AMA 250SX East Champion, multiple 450 Supercross wins, and representing France on top of the MXoN podium—Marv’s résumé speaks for itself. He’s always brought style, precision, and class to everything he does. Stoked to have him as our newest ambassador.”
The Frenchman is a long-time THOR athlete, as he first signed with the brand when he began his U.S. racing career in 2013. Musquin changed to FOX in 2015 but returned to THOR in 2016 as he entered the 450 class and stayed with the company until announcing a switch to O’Neal in 2022.
Ahead of the 2025 SuperMotocross season, Musquin was announced as an analyst for the series first ever French-language broadcast alongside Maxime Martin (play-by-play commentator), Sebastien Tortelli, and David Vuillemin (analysts).
