Rickie Fowler is a moto dude who plays golf. He grew up in Murrieta. Raced moto until 15 but gave it up after breaking his leg in three spots. Still, he’s remained part of the community, sponsoring guys like Kyle Chisholm and attending races.
Rickie is moto. “Motocross made me a bit fearless on the course,” Fowler told Golf Digest during an interview in 2010. “I’ve taken the more conservative route on the bike now, but I’m still taking risks and having fun on the golf course.”
Over the weekend, Rickie won the Rocket Mortgage Classic in a three-man playoff to end a four year wait for a sixth PGA Tour win. It was amazing. Just look at this reaction:
Anyway, it reminded me of the time Rickie and Puma released this amazing commercial so let’s remember it together.
