Lake Elsinore Motocross Track Announces Closure

Another track in the Mecca of Motocross is closing. Lake Elsinore MX Park in Lake Elsinore, California, released a statement on Instagram that it would be closing due to a lawsuit.

“Due to a lawsuit from a tragic accident that occurred in June the property owner has terminated our agreement as they are being brought into it as well,” the statement read in part.

The track was one of the most popular in the area and featured a vet track, regular track, supercross track and flat track.

The facility hosted a round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in 2012 and 2013 before being replaced on the schedule.

We will post more as we know it. You can read the full statement from the facility below.
