KTM Moving Offroad Team to ClubMX, Cole Martinez Brought On as Trainer

Big news to start the New Year for the ClubMX training facility. Last week, it was announced they will now be hosting the KTM Offroad team and have brought on former pro Cole Martinez as a trainer to lead that group as well as “supporting all facets of the ClubMX professional and amateur groups when needed.”

KTM previously trained at Kailub Russell’s facility, but with his contract up and his return to full-time GNCC Racing with AmPro Yamaha, they needed a new place to train. Enter ClubMX.

Martinez had moderate success during his professional Supercross and Motocross career before entering the off-road world in 2019, where he won titles and was a member of the 2023 Team USA ISDE team.

Later, he returned to amateur motocross and captured Open Pro Sport and Junior 25+ titles at the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s. Now, Martinez will make the move from the West Coast to South Carolina.

“When I first heard of this opportunity, it sounded like something I would like to pursue,” he said. “I was familiar with ClubMX, their reputation is worldwide but had not been there. I was blown away when I finally made it to their facility. It is unlike anything I have ever seen, and I’ve been to some pretty cool places. I knew right away this was the right decision for me and my family and I am going to do everything I can to make them successful.”
