It was hot at Fox Raceway on Saturday, site of round 11 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Like, really, really hot.

It had a huge impact on a number of riders. After his third place finish in the first 250 moto, RJ Hampshire said he was throwing up in his helmet.

Both Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen skipped their TV interviews after the first 450 moto, electing to go directly back to their team trucks.

Apparently, Roczen also had some trouble regarding throwing up, saying on Instagram that he puked in the moto, hence why he slowed down late in the race for a bit before regrouping to finish third.

“Big congratulations to @dylanferrandis and his team. You guys did a great job this year and were super tough to beat. Good job again for a strong outdoor season.

“My weekend was not very good. I haven’t been feeling quite right and it was very noticeable yesterday. I felt weak yesterday and with the weather it was just a suffer fest from practice to racing. I tried a late moto charge in the first moto and ended up throwing up. I have a history of fainting when i throw up so i slowed down completely until it was all out and then i pushed again in the last lap to secure 3rd. Second moto was just straight misery. Ended 6th in that moto. Glad i was able to minimize the damage and score some points.”

Yeah, Fox Raceway did not seem fun AT ALL on Saturday.
