Rising amateur star Aidan Zingg tragically lost his life while racing the Mammoth Motocross event in California in June. He was just 16.
The loss of Aidan has had a profound effect throughout the entire community. While talented on the bike, Aidan’s impact was felt off it as well, as he carried himself with discipline, dedication, respect and grace.
Renthal has set up a website on behalf of the Zingg family in Aidan’s honor to be an outlet for the immense support the community has offered in the wake of Aidan’s tragedy. 100% of the profits will be donated to the Zingg Family for expenses during this difficult time.

In a social post, Renthal also posted a statement from Aidan’s dad, Bob, which you can read below:
Hi Guys,
Obviously, this is a difficult time, and I really miss my little buddy. Aidan and I have been connected at the hip since he was born but the racing brought us together closer than I could have ever imagined. I really can’t wrap my head around life without him. It’s hard to believe how much support there has been from the community over the last week. Watching the media and race over the weekend, I feel like most of the riders did something special for Aidan. As special as we know he was, the impact he made and the support we’ve received feels completely surreal. We’ve received a lot of questions recently about a GoFundMe & ways to offer support; however, we don’t feel that reflects our values as a family, nor does it align with Aidan’s values as an individual. Additionally, the community has done so much for us, and we’d like to be able to offer something in return for their unbelievable support while honoring his legacy.

Ride in Peace, Aidan.
