Troy Dog’s Shack: Har Dog’s Season Begins

I’ve been bringing the Grant Harlan hype for almost an entire year. You should be used to it by now and you should want more Har Doggy in your life. Well, tomorrow marks his SX season debut and I couldn’t be more excited!

Since January of last year I somehow ended up becoming bros with the young Texas native, who was born in Hawaii and lived there as a child. I’m envious of that fact and somewhere down the line the Squad is going to take a trip there. I’m serious.

I’ve got a soft spot for Har Dog. He was my first full-time ELITE athlete on my squad last year. He believes in my brand enough to run my face on his helmet every lap that he puts in. He’s given me a ton of exposure and he’s a good dude. I’m his number one fan outside of his family and his longtime friends who are like family to him. It’s for that reason that I can’t begin to describe to you how excited I am to get this 2022 season rolling!

Last year heading into supercross, Har Dog’s deal was to race Hoosier Arenacross, He did so well in those rounds (I didn’t look, but I’m assuming he dominated) that Ti Lube Honda awarded him a 250SX East Region ride. It took a few rounds to get going, but Harlan found his stride and went 14-16-18-10-5-11 through the first six rounds of the series. He was sitting ninth in points until an injury at Daytona took him out of contention.

Har Dog stood out to me on the track each weekend with what TV time he would get, which was a decent amount at the Indy rounds. He has lots of speed and with some more laps under his belt he can really show people what he is capable of. I know we haven’t even scratched the surface here. He was also standing out to me by the stuff he would tweet to me in between races. He’d throw something my way when I thought he was still on the track. You never know what that dude is thinking.

We put in the work in the offseason. We chased money races for laps in the fall, made bank, had fun, and under temporary team manager Ashton Bloxom (Ash Dog) we dominated for the most part. From December to the end of January we spent the days plugging in one million laps at Club MX. We had a photoshoot and the whole deal. Ginger Dog and I even sent off some hats to Momma and Papa Har Dog as well. Grant even came through and stayed at our house a couple times while on the road and played Monster Trucks with Bub Dog. We take care of our family.

Now it is go time. The prep is finished, the Ti Lube Honda is ready, he’s got our pineapple merch from head to toe, and he is in Minneapolis ready to shred. You thought the Super Bowl was a big game last week? Nah, people Har Doggy is bigger than that. All that is really left to say is…LFG. It’s time to show the world what we got in season 2.

LET’S GO HAR DOGGY!
