GoPro will support both events through integrated content capture and event coverage, highlighting the unforgettable moments that define two of Vurbmoto’s premier events.
Vurbmoto today announced that GoPro, the leading camera in action sports, will serve as the presenting sponsor of both the Vurbmoto 500 West and the RV2 World Mini Grand Prix, two of the premier motocross events taking place at Mesquite MX in Mesquite, Nevada.
The partnership aligns one of action sports’ most established brands with events designed to celebrate grassroots motocross. As presenting sponsor, GoPro will play a central role in event storytelling and coverage, capturing the intensity, personalities, and moments that define both race weekends.
The Vurbmoto 500 West has quickly established itself as one of the most unique events in off-road racing, challenging riders and teams to complete 500 minutes of racing in a true test of strategy, endurance, and consistency. Meanwhile, the World Mini Grand Prix builds on the legacy of one of amateur motocross’s most storied events, maintaining its long-standing role as a premier event on the amateur motocross calendar.
“GoPro has long delivered unforgettable perspectives in motorsport, and having them now involved with two of our premier events is special for everyone involved,” said Brent Stallo, co-founder of Vurbmoto. “The 500 and the World Mini are rooted in grassroots motocross and the riders who show up to race every weekend, and this partnership helps push both events forward while staying true to that foundation.”
As part of the partnership, GoPro will be integrated throughout both events, supporting on-site content capture, athlete storytelling, and post-event coverage designed to showcase the experience from the rider’s perspective.
Both events will take place at Mesquite MX, one of the premiere motocross tracks in the country. The Vurbmoto 500 West is set for March 14, followed by the World Mini Grand Prix on April 23-26.
