Early Silly Season Deal; Devin Simonson Signs Extension with ClubMX Yamaha

Want a feel good story to start your day?

ClubMX Yamaha has announced that they have agreed to an extension with Devin Simonson for 2027.

A long-time customer at the training facility in South Carolina, Simonson got a shot with the team in 2025, but a wrist injury derailed his Supercross season as he only competed in three 250SX East Division races.

For 2026, Simonson signed a SX-only deal and has had a career year as he currently sits 7th in East points with three top-10 finishes.

ClubMX announced this year that Simonson will race some Pro Motocross rounds this summer and will have a similar deal in 2027.

From the team release:

Simonson started the year with a Supercross only contract for 2026 and has earned an extension for some outdoor rounds for the remainder of 2026 and a similar program for all of 2027. The team will determine the number of outdoor rounds in the near future.
