Defending Champions The Netherlands Top Qualifying at 2021 Motocross of Nations

Defending champions, The Netherlands, topped qualifying today at the 2021 Motocross of Nations at Mantova. 

Jeffrey Herlings led the way with a come-from-behind win in the Open class while Glenn Coldenhoff finished third in MXGP. MX2 rider Roan Van De Moosdijk finished ninth, but remember, the highest result is dropped.

France is currently one point behind as Tom Vialle won the MX2 class and Mathys Boisrame finished fourth in Open. 

The home nation of Italy is also one point behind as Antonio Cairoli won the MXGP class and MX2 rider Mattia Guadagnini finished fourth. 

Great Britain is also tied on five points behind a second from Ben Watson (MXGP) and a third from Conrad Mewse (MX2).

Germany rounded out the top five with 7 points. Henry Jacobi finished second in Ope and Max Nagl took fifth in MXGP.
