Dean Wilson To Take Time Off as He Continues to Deal with Epstein-Barr Virus

As if the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna 450 team wasn’t having bad enough luck in regard to injuries in this Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship already, Dean Wilson announced on Instagram today that he is taking time off as he continues to deal with the dreaded Epstein-Barr Virus.

Wilson has been dealing with it all season, but has still continued to grind out solid results and sits 13th in the 450 Pro Motocross Championship standings.

Here is what Dean posted on IG today:

“Well. Not the news I wanted to put out but for my well being it’s the best case.

“I as well as the team have decided to take time off due to the EBV virus I have been battling all summer. I showed up and pushed through it each race but there comes a point you will keep digging yourself a deeper hole.

“Even though I was cranking out top 10s I was still no where I should be. But anyways going to take this time to rest & get my energy/blood levels back where they need to be. Thank you all for the support!”
