Phoenix Honda Racing’s Coty Schock announced on Instagram that he sustained a bruised lung, hematoma on his right shoulder and left knee swelling in a crash at Saturday’s Arlington Triple Crown race in the second 250SX main event.
Schock did not line up for the third main and finished 21st overall.
“Arlington bittersweet, rode way better in qualifying and the mains didn’t go my way. Ended up having a bad crash in main 2 and ended up have a bruised lung, hematoma on my right shoulder and left knee swelling. All In all I’m okay and thank you everyone who has reached out❤️ much love to all and we will be back 👊🏻”
Through two rounds of the 250SX East Region, Schock currently sits 21st in points. At this time, a return to racing is not known.
