Clueless, Tampa: I Said 250 East Would Be Boring… I Was Wrong

OK, I admit it, I said 250 East would be boring. I was wrong. There are plenty of storylines from Vialle to Anstie to Deegan and the other 57 Yamaha riders in the class. It’s must watch TV, unlike the Sexton runaway which was a tad boring much like when Webb is behind someone and you know something is going to happen. Am I right?!

– Hunter Lawrence has the most expensive suspension known to mankind, but he’d prefer to cruise to a 0.134 second victory than come up short on the finish line jump
– Are Honda HRC doing everything possible to make their bike look “not like Honda”
– Taking cues from how Sexton is changing the bike to not ‘ride like a Honda’
– And I had something written out for when Sexton was about to win…. Which since got canned
– Just like on the track, Stewart being near Carmichael made Carmichael better
– Seriously, big sand sections with a 180-degree corner…. mandatory!
– So Paul and Elito both turned up at the same track at the same time
– Anderson might have just put in the fastest couple of corners in the history of supercross, after re-passing Barcia
– The Ju. vs Jo. battle was worth keeping an eye on
– Please Jordon Smith, I like you, and your crashing makes me sad. Please stop.
– Nothing like hearing a guy in the studio shout out that Sexton is down… when you’re watching something else
– If Stewart tells me how to ride a bike, I listen
– Didn’t watch the 250 heat races… but I heard Nate Thrasher won one
– And some other dude did too
