So I admit, I didn’t even bother to watch the racing before checking out the results because lets be honest, the season was winding down and it was going to be a snooze-fest. Wow was I wrong! In one of the most unfortunate incidents to hit our sport ever, Tomac bust his Achilles and now Chase Sexton is the SX champ (unofficially-officially). What a crazy couple of weeks…
-I probably looked at Tomac’s incident three times before even seeing where it happened
-Adam Cianciarulo is a good guy
-Suzuki is a powerhouse in the supercross world, with three riders in the top 10
-If ever there was a time for a privateer to score SX points… SLC is it
-You know there are some Honda people right now ringing round some printing companies to get a rush delivery on 100x ‘Chase Sexton 2023 SX Champ’ t-shirts
-The Tomac incident even overshadowed Jett Lawrence winning a title, which is a pretty impressive achievement
-The only guy who might be feeling worse than Tomac right now… Cooper Webb
-Will there be any riders left for the Nationals?
-But seriously, lets limit the SX season to 12 rounds
-I guess the only positive is that it didn’t happen next weekend
-Pretty sure that everyone predicted that Roczen would be third in points at the end of the season
-Nothing like an injury to bring out all the Internet doctors
-And riding coaches
