We have an answer on the length of Chase Sexton’s contract at Monster Energy Kawasaki.
One of the biggest moves of the silly season was announced on Monday, with Sexton moving from Red Bull KTM over to the factory Kawasaki squad. The announcement however made no mention on the length of the contract. Why? I have no clue.
But, Sexton was on the PulpMX Show this week and confirmed it is a three-year deal:
“Three years,” he told Steve Matthes. “I mean, this move for me, I wanted this to be a long-term thing. I really don’t want to switch teams anymore. I wanted to be confident in my decision, so I went with three and yeah, I’m excited. I think I moved teams so much, with Honda and KTM. So, I’d like to really find a home. And like I said, it’s been good working with these guys.”
Not sure why this wasn’t mention in the announcement, but hey, at least we now have an answer.
