Chance Hymas Set for MRI After Sustaining Knee Injury at High Point

One week after sweeping both motos at the Thunder Valley National to claim his first win of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship, Honda HRC Progressive’s Chance Hymas is dealing with another knee injury.

On the final lap of the second 250 moto Saturday at High Point, Hymas dabbed his right leg in a corner and while he was able to finish the moto he had to be helped to the team rig and was shown in extreme discomfort.

According to the team, he is set for an MRI Monday to determine the significance of the injury.

“It was a rough day for me at High Point—I went 5-3 in the motos, but on the last lap of the second moto, I dabbed my good leg, and now I’m dealing with a lot of pain in my right knee,” Hymas said in a team statement. “I’ll be seeing the doctor Monday to get it checked out and figure out a game plan from there.”

Hymas finished round 4 at High Point fourth overall and is currently third in 250 points behind Haiden Deegan and teammate Jo Shimoda.

Previously, Hymas sustained a torn left ACL in 2023 and a second torn ACL in his left knee in 2024.

We will update once we have official news on the injury.
