Carson Mumford to Make Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki Debut at Seattle

The 250SX West Region is back in action this Saturday and that means we will finally get to see Carson Mumford make his Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki debut.

Mumford, who is coming off a pre-season wrist injury, joined the team in Jan to fill-in for the injured Austin Forkner, who sustained a torn ACL and damage to his MCL, PCL and meniscus at the Monster Energy Supercross opener at Anaheim 1.

Mumford left BarX Suzuki when Forkner went down and was supposed to make his debut with the team in Oakland but it was pushed back to this weekend.

“We had another good weekend with Chris in Detroit, earning a fifth. His career-best supercross finish is a fourth, so we’ll work on matching that at Atlanta. We’re back on the west coast this week, and Carson Mumford will join Cameron in Seattle. Both of them have been riding together and working hard during the break. The team is looking forward to having two riders at the races again. We’ve seen a little rain in the forecast for Thursday and Friday, but Saturday is currently clear, so we’re all hoping it stays that way.” – Iain Southwell, Team Manager.
