Carson Mumford has found a landing spot after the closure of GEICO Honda earlier this year.
Over the weekend, the California native confirmed on his personal vlog that he was signing with Michael Linday’s Chaparral/FXR Honda team.
This deal has been rumored for a while, as Honda wanted to keep one its top prospects after GEICO shutdown.
Mumford raced two rounds of Pro Motocross in 2019 before going pro full time in 2020 at Loretta Lynn’s 1. He finished his rookie season 12th in points.
