Round 1 of the King of KC kicked off at Challenge Trax, and it was a big one. 27 classes, 235 entries, 150 unique riders. That’s a lot of elbows in the dirt. Big names showed up, too. Jack Jamison, Dawson Kaub, and Gunner Vaughan, all top-tier riders, were in the mix and didn’t disappoint. Dawson Kaub and Gunner Vaughan each took home two wins. Brady Lueck was on fire in the Novice classes, snagging two wins himself. These guys are the real deal.
Now, let’s talk class results. In the 125 2-Stroke Only, Gunnar Shippy took the top spot, with Gage Marshall and Kyla Noble keeping him honest on the podium. Riggs Poos led the pack in the 250 Beginner class, followed by Frank Eaton and Caleb Milliron. Logan Jackson showed his chops in the 250 Expert, taking first with Deegen Meyer and Cash Ficenec chasing him down. The ATOMIC “10” RACE SERIES ROUND 9 at Moriarty Motocross was buzzing with action. With 47 classes, 189 entries, and 88 unique riders, it was a battlefield of throttle and grit. Top guns like Ethan Casares, Wyatt Beam, and Joseph Filip brought their A-game. Ethan took the College (18-24) class with ease, showing why he’s top 4,000 all-time. Wyatt didn’t just show up; he dominated the 125CC class. Big props to Houston Gray, who snagged four wins, including the 50CC OPEN MAIN. Konnor Pickle and Steel Rust weren’t far behind, each grabbing three class victories.
The racing was tight across the board. Konnor Pickle owned the 250 B, leaving his mark on the podium. Damon Sotelo was the man to beat in the 250 BEGINNER, taking first, while Wesley Morgan put on a show in the 250 C. Joseph Filip proved his mettle in the 250C JR (12-17), holding off Damon and Wyatt.
