Daxton Bennick Confirms Departure from Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing

Daxton Bennick has confirmed his departure from the Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing team in a Instagram post on Tuesday.

The North Carolina native has been with the team his entire professional career, which began at RedBud in 2023.

Through his two full seasons with the team, Bennick has shown flashes—including a third place finish in his Monster Energy Supercross debut in Detroit—but has missed time due to injury and concussions.

Bennick began the 2025 Monster Energy Supercross season with a second place finish in Tampa, but sustained a concussion prior to round 2 of the East Region. Later in the season, he sustained a compression fracture in his back and a concussion in the crash at Philadelphia Supercross which caused him to miss the remainder of Supercross and most of Pro Motocross.

Bennick returned for the final three rounds of Pro Motocross and the SMX Playoffs. His best finish in the Playoffs was an 8th at round 2.

He is expected to return to the KTM Group for 2026.
