Will He Line Up? Haiden Deegan May Try and Race Motocross of Nations Despite Collarbone Injury

As debate over the final round of the SuperMotocross World Championship in Las Vegas continues to dominate headlines and social media, one major question remains: What will Team USA do for the upcoming Motocross of Nations?

As of now, rumors have Justin Cooper (dropping down to the 250) and RJ Hampshire replacing Haiden Deegan (broken collarbone) and Chase Sexton (concussion and shoulder injury) following their injuries sustained in Vegas.

Not so fast… maybe.

In his latest vlog, Deegan said he is still holding out hope to compete for Team USA for the first time in his career. He also spoke about Vegas:

“The only thing I can say is I told myself I’m going to die trying to win this championship, and we did,” he said. “So the collarbone is broke. It’s a break, but we’ll probably get surgery Monday and try and figure out if we can get therapy going quick and maybe race the des Nations still because I want to do that because that would be huge. So yeah, figure out surgery Monday and figure out the plan after that.”

There is still a lot to be decided, but the AMA needs to make a decision quickly and what happened in Vegas certainly isn’t helping.

  1. Dude, as long as you have the best job on the planet-STOP ACTING ENTITLED. YOUR DAD-ENTITLED, NOT YOU. Give respect, always-if you argue or act out, you look like the dice.

THE REF ONLY SEES THE PAYBACK.

  2. If you gonna play dirty, be better at it. You are so in the fish eye-kid, this isn’t the end of anything, it’s just racing. Get back to your passion, riding and Chick Filet-I live your whole family. You are going through the best and most difficult time in your life, you are doing so awesome-you are perfect just how and who you are. Should you ever need a rescue, call your friend, or your Dad’s friends, you will always be Danger Boy to them and they love you. No more shit shows, you win because you are the best-not because you can roost someone like a pussy. Dude you may not like your competitors, but you had beyter care because accidents and “on-puposes” happen-what if you sent a rock through his lense? Was your “getting a little scuffed” worth blinding someone? If so, get yhe fluff off that bike, you don’t deserve to hurt others because you acting out. I don care who or why, walk away, ride away, don’t think about what they did…

REF ONLY SEES PAYBACKS. GOOD LUCK MIGHTY HAYDEN, YOU HAVE THE WORLD BY THE TAIL, HANG ON AND KEEP YOU AND YOUR CREW SAFE AND BE PROUD TO BE A DEEGAN!!!

  3. Danger brat is injured, not at 100%. Maybe next year. Doesn’t deserve to be on the team as it is.lets get our boys who are at 100%.he should have been disqualified from that race for putting riders in danger of injury and disqualified from being on the USA team. Does Yamaha want that kind of representation for their brand? Many questions!

  4. Call back and watch all the clips of the boys racing in the past doing the exact same thing. Nobody complained about it in the past.
Too many people in this world have become soft pedicure, so drinking boys
