In this edition of Michelin Most Likely, we (I) look at the returns of Ken Roczen and Cole Davies this weekend at Unadilla.
Enjoy!
Where is Roczen Most Likely to finish in his return?
No slight to Kenny, but coming into any series—rather less Pro Motocross—nine rounds in is tough. The fitness, the speed, the conditions, the competition are all hard to adjust to, especially when the riders you are going up against have been doing this all summer.
Kenny did the same thing last year—began his summer at Unadilla—and went 7-6 for seventh overall. If he can repeat that performance, one would think he would leave Unadilla happy.
Where is Cole Davies Most Likely to finish in his return?
Not only is this Davies return to racing, it is his Pro Motocross debut. While Davies seems like a seasoned veteran the way he performed in Monster Energy AMA Supercross this year, he has yet to race in Pro Motocross.
Akin to Roczen, jumping into a series toward the end coming off injury and it is your first pro race to boot… is challenging. Very challenging.
If Davies can sneak inside the top 15 overall, I think he would be happy.
Top 15 for Cole Davies?! Haha…bro if you thought he was impressive at SX wait till you see him outdoors. We don’t even have Supercross in New Zealand. Obviously CD had the SX practice track at home but he grew up racing outdoors cos that’s all we do here lol. He will go 1-1 at Unadilla and Budds Creek. Chur 💯
