Round 10 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross was held this past weekend in Detroit. And while there were a TON of great quotes during the press conference and such, we went deeper. And got things riders 100000000 PERCENT DID NOT SAY.

Without further ado, these are things that definitely WERE NOT said by the riders or personnel after the tenth round of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, but we all know they were thinking it.

Aaron Plessinger: “There are lots of things I’d like to say, but I can’t say them on air. It does rhyme with brother-ducker though.”

Journalists in press conferences: “I always try to interject my opinion into my five-minute question-introductions, before asking a really short question. I feel that viewers what to hear what I think more than what the riders think.”

Hunter Lawrence: “Hey, Deegs, you really should have got Feld to ban the media from asking questions about that Smith dealio.”

Haiden Deegan: “I find that the riding style of ‘not paying attention’ is actually really beneficial, because you have an immediate excuse if anything happens.”

Chase Sexton: “Snitches get stitches.”

Cooper Webb: “Don’t do the crime, if you can’t handle the time.”

Nate Thrasher: “Please don’t ask me about the Deegan vs Smith incident. Please don’t ask me about the Deegan vs Smith incident…lalalalala…. I can’t hear you.”

Justin Barcia: “I just wanted to show everyone that I could pass all the top guys again, and didn’t really mind if they re-passed me later.”

Ken Roczen: “Definitely wasn’t close to bringing the kickstarter on the podium this weekend.”

Jordon Smith: “I probably should have just cooled down and blitzed past him in the whoops on the next lap.”
