Tony Cairoli Set to Return to Pro Motocross, Race Select Rounds in 2026

Tony Cairoli is returning to the U.S.! The nine-time World Champion confirmed that he will contest select rounds of the 2026 Pro Motocross Championship for Ducati Factory Racing.

Cairoli, 40, announced today that he will race three rounds this summer starting at RedBud when the series returns from break on July 4. He will also race at Southwick and Spring Creek.

The Italian legend has been working on the development team for Ducati’s new Desmo450 MX motocross bike and raced two rounds of Pro Motocross in 2025 finishing 14th overall at RedBud and 15th overall at Spring Creek.

Cairoli previously raced in the U.S. in 2022 after retiring from racing full-time. He raced five rounds that year with a season-best fifth coming at Thunder Valley.
