SMX Next Returns in Houston, Here’s Who Is Racing

The second round of the 2026 SMX Next – Supercross Championship will take place this Saturday in conjunction with round 4 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship in Houston, TX.

The AMA National Championship will consist of four invitational qualifying rounds featuring the best A and B riders in the country and culminating in the SMX Next Championship in Philadelphia, PA on April 25.

At the opening round last weekend at Anaheim 2, it was a Star Racing Yamaha clean sweep, as Australian Kayden Minear took the win over Caden Dudney and Landen Gordon. All three will be back in action this weekend along with Team Green’s Kade Johnson and Vincent Wey, Husqvarna’s Landon Gibson and more.
