Power Rankings: Ranking the Favorites Entering a Loaded MXGP Season

For 33 years GUTS Racing has prided themselves on being the innovators in seat technology. If you’re looking for a comfortable and stylish place to park your rear end on your dirt bike then look no further. GUTS carries an extensive product line of seat covers and foam no matter what you ride!

When we turn on the livestream or the broadcast for the opening round of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Argentina this weekend, we may not recognize some of the stalwarts we’ve come to known over the years.

Tim Gajser left his long-time home with Honda HRC. And that wasn’t even the biggest shock this off-season, as Jeffrey Herlings, who has ridden KTM since 1978 per my research, moved over to replace Gajser at Honda.

And Honda wasn’t done, as they convinced two-time MX2 World Champion Tom Vialle to come back to MXGP after two 250SX titles in the U.S.

Add in defending World Champion Romain Febvre, young phenom Lucas Coenen, 2024 MX2 World Champion Kay de Wolf (although he is out for the opener with a broken thumb) 2023 MX2 World Champion Andrea Adamo and more, and this could be one hell of a season.

With that said, I have dropped the only Power Rankings that matter ahead of the opener: mine!

Enjoy and we will revisit these at the end of the year.
