Loretta’s season is here! Regionals are complete, families are packing up and beginning their trek to the Ranch, and riders are starting to get that familiar feeling in their stomach. Over the next three weeks, we’ll break down the top 15 riders in the Vurbmoto National Rankings heading into the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship.
If you’re new here, the Vurbmoto Prospect app features profiles for nearly every rider who has competed in amateur motocross. From your local series to Mini O’s, Ponca, Loretta’s, and more, if you’ve raced it, your results are automatically added to your profile, along with analytics, career stats, and more.
From there, our proprietary ranking system takes over, identifying the top amateur riders in the country based on a season’s worth of results. This week, we’re breaking down riders ranked 15-11. Next week, we’ll tackle 10-6 before finishing with the top five amateur riders in the country heading into Loretta’s.
Keep in mind: these aren’t predictions, they’re a data-driven snapshot of who has performed best heading into amateur motocross’ biggest week.

#15 Riley Busse
Busse is going to be one to watch in the Open Pro Sport and 250 Pro Sport classes. He contested a stacked Regional at RedBud that included Landon Gibson, Caron Wood, Carson Fields and Luke Fauser and finished fifth in Open Pro Sport and 250 Pro Sport. While a win in those classes might be tough considering the level that Wood, Gibson and Fauser have been on, if they stumble, Busse will be there.
14: Rydin Williams
Rydin will race the Micro Class and will move up to the 65cc 7-9 class for Loretta’s. Rydin went 1-2 in Micro 3 7-8 at the Gatorback Youth Regional and is one of the favorites in the class. While he’s had success in the 65 class this year, his strongest chance at the title will be in Micro.
13: Jaydin Smart
The #4 ranked rider all-time in the rankings, Smart is a favorite in the 85cc division entering the week. After claiming the 65cc 10-11 title at the Ranch in 2024, Smart moved up to 85s last year and didn’t have the results he was hoping for. But with another year under his belt on the bigger bike, he’s clicking on all cylinders entering the week. Not only did he go 1-2 at this Regional, he sweep 85cc 10-12 and the Limited Class at the Cal Classic earlier this year.
12: Tristan Prueitt
The Yamaha rider has to be considered a strong favorite to capture the B/Schoolboy division. As of now, he’s listed as racing 250 B and Schoolboy 2. After capturing the 125 Jr title at the Ranch a year ago, Prueitt has been one of the best performing B riders in the country in 2026. He won motos at his Regional, Spring a Ding and Freestone this year.
11: Enzo Posca
One of the favorites in the 65 10-11 division, Posca is coming off moto wins at Mammoth and had a good showing at the RV2 World Mini Grand Prix earlier this year where he took home multiple podium finishes. He’ll have some challenges from Levi Meyer (who he raced at World Mini) and others, but Posca will be in contention at the Ranch for titles.
