FINALLY, Pro Motocross is back in our lives and one of the most anticipated seasons in recent memory begins tomorrow. Eli is back. The Lawrences are back. Prado is back. Anderson is back. And the 450 Class is going to be insane this year.

Is this edition of “Most Likely” we’ll look into who wins the title, who will have a breakout year and more.

Which Rider is Most Likely to Win the 450 Title?

I have gone back and forth a million times on this. Part of me says Chase Sexton. The other part says Jett Lawrence. The third, more crazier part says Jorge Prado. I DON’T KNOW!

Is Jett 100%? That is an awfully quick turnaround time for a torn ACL. Can Prado adjust to all-new tracks, terrain and the heat? WHO KNOWS!

Sexton, to me, is the safe pick. We know what we are getting. He seems much more adjusted to the KTM and is coming off a fantastic (and more importantly, healthy) Supercross campaign. So…. I’m going Sexton to claim the title. I do have the right to change said pick after watching Jett this weekend.

Which Rider Will Have a Breakout Season?

Justin Cooper. If you have followed my blogs this year, you know I have been calling JCoop for success from the start. After a sluggish start in SX, he found his stride and was a podium threat every weekend toward the end of the season. And, get this, he’s better outdoors. I have high, high hopes for Cooper this summer and I think he could pull out a moto win or two.

Does Tomac Have Another Title Run in Him?

Sure, why not. Before his injury in Supercross, he was right in the mix for that championship, so why not outdoors? Like Jett, how is Eli feeling coming into the season? I don’t know and Eli wouldn’t say if he was or wasn’t 100%. I mean, the dude raced an entire night with a broken fibula in Tampa, you think he’s going to say he’s hurting coming into the season? Not a chance. Either way, Tomac is Tomac and until I see he can’t, I will say he can.

Who Grabs Overall Wins This Year?

Here is who I have getting overalls: Jett Lawrence, Chase Sexton, Jorge Prado and Eli Tomac. That’s the list.

Here is who I think could also grab an overall: Hunter Lawrence, Justin Cooper, Aaron Plessinger, That’s the list.
