Jett Reynolds Returns for the SuperMotocross Playoffs

We’re gearing up for our annual Vurbmoto Classic at NXT LVL 101 in South Carolina on September 13-15. It’s our biggest race of the year. If you don’t believe us, just ask riders like Jo Shimoda, Haiden Deegan, Adam Cianciarulo, Justin Barcia, Justin Cooper, Cooper Webb, among others what this race meant to them. They will tell you that it completely changed the trajectory of their careers. We took them to the top baby! Now we will take you to the top. Sign up for your classes today and see if you can become King of the Classic.

The Muc-Off FXR ClubMX team has announced that all of their riders will be on the gate when the SuperMotocross Playoffs kick off this weekend at zMax Dragway.

The question mark for the team was Jett Reynolds. Would he be able to return in time from his broken collarbone that he sustained during the break after Washougal? Team manager Mike Bonacci says that he’s good to go!

Jett returns to racing this weekend! With shoulder fixed, he has been training extensively to get ready for the SMX LCQ as well. 99 points for the 99 – if you are a fan of numerology – this is good. If you recall, he was making steady strides up and through Washougal where he scored his first top ten of the season and felt good doing it. Yes there were setback but we still believe this kid has “it”. In Charlotte, you will be reminded just how good a starter he is. Having the teammates in the LCQ is going to be more than exciting, knowing they have fast bikes – it is now up to them to show what they can do.

Reynolds will join his teammate Mark Fineis on the gate of the Last Chance Qualifiers in all three rounds of the playoffs. The other two riders on the team, Phil Nicoletti and Coty Schock have each qualified for the playoffs. Nicoletti is a 16th seed in the 450 class (he could also race the 250 class, but would have to race the LCQs) and Schock is a 15th seed in the 250 class.

It’s been a nice rebuilding year for Reynolds, who had his best result of his career at Washougal, the round before he got injured, going 13-10 for tenth overall.

The ClubMX team fully expects they can get Reynolds back on pace after many years of setbacks and injuries.

Reynolds finished 18th in the 250 Pro Motocross Championship despite missing the final three rounds.
