What has already been a wild week, just got a bit crazier.
This morning, Kawasaki sent out a press release simply titled: “We heard you” with the tagline “Kawasaki teases new two-stroke model currently in development.”
And then the Internet exploded.
The big four Japanese motocross manufactures have not released a new two-stroke model in years. The last time Kawasaki produced the KX125 two-stroke was in 2006 and the KX250 in 2007.
Fans have been clamoring for new two-stroke models and they just may get one from Kawi.
We shall see.
In 1991i I was at a farm party 100 acre’s.lwas#28 years old, they had a 1985 Kawasaki kx/#250,with after market silencer, fmf, carb kit,air cleaner, clutch springs, tires handle bars, sprocket, front this thing kicked my ass on this hill climb they had, last thing I no I don’t let out of the throttle at,came 4feet and cleared the top, last thing I know is I’m coming totally off the bike, and I come down and basically bust My ass, My right ass check was all black LoL 🤣😆🤣😆🤣
I had a 1973 H1 500 triple. I restored the bike and rebuilt the oil pump which was supposed to be impossible. Carbs leaked no matter what. Once a guy ( I was a woman in my early thirties – about 125 pounds) asked to take it for a ride. I told him it had some power and to be careful. He got on gave it full throttle and the bike left him in the sand. Looked at the bike and me with new eyes after that.
Sure was fun that bike.
You idiot-fake news-YAMAHA has had a 2-stroke every year for sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t wait. I will definitely be amongst the first to buy. One always love 2 strokes.
