You are probably aware of this by now, but if not, I’m here to fill you in.
Ducati is entering the motocross world in 2024, with the Bologna based manufacturer making its debut in the Italian Motocross Championship next season.
They have hired nine-time World Motocross Champion Tony Cairoli as a test rider for the new project and also signed a multi-year agreement with Maddii Racing, which will be the reference structure for the MX racing activities and will take part in the 2024 Italian Motocross Championship with Alessandro Lupino, eight-time Italian Champion and 2021 MXoN winner, also contracted to Ducati as racing and test rider.
They have apparently been working for two years on a prototype and recently released a big ole teaser of the new bike.
Per the post, we can expect more news in late Janurary.
“Sound all the way up! Take a moment to enjoy Antonio Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino on the new Ducati motocross and stay tuned for the 21st-23rd January 2024, where at the Campioni in Pista event we will present the team that will participate in the Italian Motocross Championship in 2024.”
