Despite Shoulder Injury, Hunter Lawrence to Race Ironman

GEICO Honda’s Hunter Lawrence confirmed today he will race round 3 of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross this weekend at Ironman.

Lawrence dislocated his shoulder in the first 250 moto last Saturday at Loretta Lynn’s despite not crashing. He did not line up for moto two.

The Australian underwent an MRI on Monday and it revealed no ligament damage. He rode this week and has decided to race tomorrow.

“A lot of thought, evaluation and calculation has gone into the decision and i will give my 100% to race this weekend,” he wrote.

Last weekend i dislocated my shoulder in the first moto, without crashing it was a freak deal, very tough pill to swallow and just broke my heart, the MRI scans on Monday came back positive that the ligaments were okay.
