Dean Wilson Is An Australian Supercross Champion Once Again

Dean Wilson is a champion once again!

The Quad Lock Honda rider wrapped up the 2025 Australian Supercross Championship over the weekend in Adelaide putting the final touches on a emotional run to the championship with another 1-1 weekend. Earlier in the series, Wilson tragically lost his mom but had continued to compete in the championship.

Wilson only lost two races of 10 in the series, both to Jett Lawrence at the AUSX Open, to capture the title over Frenchman Cedric Soubeyras, who finished the series second overall.

“I went [won] eight out of ten finals, it was amazing,” said Wilson. “I am so stoked to win, especially after everything I went through. I don’t win like I used to, so I cherish the wins we do get.”

Wilson previously won the Australian Supercross Championship in 2023.

In SX2, CDR Yamaha’s Ryder Kingsford claimed his first SX2 Championship after teammate Lux Turner suffered wrist injuries in qualifying at the AUSX Open.
