ClubMX Yamaha, Mark Fineis Part Ways

Mark Fineis is out at Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha.

In a press release sent out Thursday, the team announced they have mutually parted ways with the Indiana native.

“The Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX team has announced the departure of Mark Fineis from the program, effective immediately,” the team announced. “Mark and the team have mutually agreed to part ways, and we wish him well in all of his future endeavors.”

This announcement comes on the heels of the team providing an update ahead of Indianapolis Supercross that Fineis was returning home to “sort through whatever is holding him back on race day.”

Here is that announcement:

Mark will not be lining up in Indianapolis. His last two races have not been remotely representative of what his capabilities are, and he has personally made the decision to return home and try to sort through whatever is holding him back on race day. We have seen glimpses of his skill and know there is more in the tank simply because we see it on his training days. We will continue to provide updates on the situation as we learn more.”

The Supercross rookie joined ClubMX prior to Supercross Futures (now SMX Next) in 2024 and raced the AMA Pro Motocross Championship (his best finish 10th overall at RedBud) with the team before being signed for the full 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship back in December.

Fineis has made one main event in the 250SX East Division Championship this year, finishing 18th in Detroit.
