Christian Craig Updates Timeline On Return to Racing

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Christian Craig has been through the ringer with his elbow/arm injuries the past couple of seasons. In fact after moving up to the 450 class full-time in 2023 he’s only been able to compete in 17 Supercross races and the Motocross of Nations in France.

He recently had surgery number four on his elbow and provided an update for everyone on Instagram.

Before bowing out of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, Craig put in a season best 12th in Glendale. In the six rounds that he raced this season he finished in the top fifteen in four of those, but you could tell that something was holding him back from his real potential. We never saw the Craig speed that we’ve come to expect.

It looks as though this surgery should be the final piece of the puzzle of a very long injury.

What are your predictions for Craig in the Pro Motocross Championship? Remember this is a guy who finished sixth in the 2020 and 2021 450MX Championship and fifth in the 2022 450MX Championship. This sport is so, what have you done for me lately? We tend to forget the good times.

A healthy Christian Craig at the start of the outdoor season should produce results and show why Rockstar Husqvarna signed him to that two-year deal.

We’ll keep you updated as we get closer to the opening round of the Pro Motocross Championship.
