Chase Sexton Out for Daytona Supercross Following Practice Crash

Breaking news from the Monster Energy Kawasaki team ahead of round 8 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross this Saturday in Daytona.

The teams star rider, Chase Sexton, is out for this weekend following a practice crash.

In a social media post, the team said Sexton is out “due to injuries to his hip and lower back sustained while prepping for Daytona.”

At this time, there is no timetable on a return.

Since his high-profile move to the team this off-season, Sexton has one win and is currently fifth in points.
