Back Issue to Sideline Zach Osborne

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Zach Osborne will miss Daytona this weekend due to a back issue.

After collecting his first podium of the season at Orlando 1, Osborne was only able to manage an eighth place finish at Orlando 2. After the race, he explained that he is dealing with a bulging disc in his lumbar spine.

Today, on Instagram, he said the issue will cause him to miss Daytona.

“Unfortunately I am going to be sitting out this weekend in Daytona due to my back issue that occurred the week before Orlando 2,” he wrote on social media. “I’ve undergone some treatment this week and I feel that I’m on a good path to recovery as well as eliminating this from happening in the future. I look forward to being back with my @rockstarhusky team as soon as I’m fully fit and ready to race again. Thanks for the support and I will be back better than ever!”
