We are three rounds down in Pro Motocross and like I do every week, I will be looking at some pressing questions around the pits and interweb. As always, Weege will handle all complaints.
Who is most likely of the current 250 contenders to challenge for titles in the 450 Class?
In Supercross, I have high hopes for Cole Davies. In two years, he’s made an immediate impact and already has a title. He still has progress to make in Pro Motocross, but he’s showing signs of his speed.
If I were the team manager at Star, I’d leave Davies in the 250 Class for 2027, see how that goes and then move him up to the 450 Class in 2028.
If not for injuries, Levi Kitchen may already be in the 450 Class. I think his style and size will adjust nicely in the bigger class. Does he ever challenge for titles? Honestly, I don’t know. Could he? I think so. But, like Davies, I don’t think we find out until 2028. I think we see him back for another season in the 250 division.
Those two are my most likely picks, then I have Jo Shimoda and Seth Hammaker on the list.

Jett has caught fire, is Hunter most likely to slow him down at High Point?
Ummmm…. Maybe? Hunter knows better than anyone, once Jett gets rolling he is tough to slow down. I will say, he needs to stop the bleeding in a hurry before Jett pulls away with this championship.
