Arlington Injury News + Viewing Guide

The seventh round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship will take place Saturday in Arlington, TX. Things are getting tight atop the 450SX championship standings as Hunter Lawrence holds a slim one point lead over Eli Tomac. Ken Roczen and Cooper Webb are tied for third in points, 11 back.

Arlington will mark the opening round of the 250SX East Division.

450SX

Christian Craig will race despite suffering fractures in his ring and pinky fingers in a first-turn crash with Jason Anderson in his heat race in Seattle. 

RJ Hampshire broke two of his metatarsals and displaced another in his foot prior to Seattle Supercross. He’s out for Arlington. 

Jorge Prado is dealing with a shoulder injury sustained in Seattle. The team said he suffered no major injuries but that he’s dealing with excessive swelling and irritation in his shoulder joint. He is out for this weekend but is hopeful to return in Daytona. 

Jordon Smith will make his 2026 and 450SX debut this weekend after missing the first six rounds due to a shoulder injury sustained at the 2025 SMX World Championship.

250SX East

Casey Cochran broke his collarbone earlier this week while preparing for the opener and is out for Arlington. 

Gage Linville sustained “five broken ribs, grade three lacerated liver, and a small collapsed lung” in a practice crash. He noted on his social media that he plans to return before the end of Supercross.

Jo Shimoda is expected to race the opener after suffering a neck injury during the off-season.
