Michael Mosiman Provides Update Following Unadilla Crash

Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing’s Michael Mosiman provided an update on his personal Instagram account on Tuesday following a brutal crash at Unadilla. 

  • Mosiman qualified 10th in the 250 Class at Unadilla.
  • In the first 250 moto, Mosiman had a violent crash before the Skyshot tabletop and was visibly shaken up before being helped to his feet and carted off.
  • Mosiman said on Tuesday that he sustained “a concussion, a black eye and some stitches under my eyebrow, and a pair of knee contusions.”
  • Through 10 rounds of the Pro Motocross Championship, Mosiman is 10th in points with a season-high third coming at RedBud.  

Mosiman will miss the final round of the Pro Motocross Championship at Budds Creek this weekend. It is currently unknown if he will return for the opening round of the SuperMotocross Playoffs on Sept 6 in Charlotte.

“Health update: Moderate concussion, a black eye and some stitches under my eyebrow, and a pair of knee contusions. All and all I am doing quite good, beat up but not broken. Years ago this would’ve broken me both physically and mentally but I have become much stronger and more resilient. Thank you to everyone for praying for me and reaching out.”
