When we launched the Vurbmoto Prospect app, one mission we had was to help riders build their own resumes. Their own brand that is viewable to potential sponsors. One way we’ve done that is through tracking every race, providing key metrics, and putting it in a readable format for athletes to showcase to companies and in return, get sponsorships.
Our hope in everything we’re trying to do with Prospect is to build the entire industry, not just one part. And this is no different. If riders aren’t racing, then tracks are dying and companies aren’t thriving because no one is buying parts, gear, et. Rising tide and ships! Or something like that.
The next step in this evolution? Launching the first-ever Draft Day for motocross. Throughout the year, beginning on March 31, sponsorships in Prospect will open and riders can earn their way into better deals through performance, consistency, and progression.

What Happens on Draft Day
- Sponsorship tiers open across the app
- You can instantly search for brands to see if you qualify for sponsorships
- Brands send offers throughout the day
- You may receive:
- Entry-level deals
- Standard sponsorship offers
- Elite offers if you’re top-ranked or trending
- Every signing is shareable
- Prospect publishes highlight signings
- You can sign multiple deals (gear, parts, goggles, supplements, etc.) but you cannot sign deals with competing companies (i.e. two gear brands)
